At {Sports Club}, we believe in a holistic approach to sports training that focuses on both physical and mental development. Our training programs are designed to help athletes build strength, endurance, and agility, as well as to develop the mental toughness they need to succeed on and off the field.

Coach Avaani Pagely is a third year student athlete playing basketball for the Langara College Falcons and she is studying Kinesiology. She attended North Surrey Secondary School, where she was named the: Spartans Female Athlete of the Year, received Spartans Academic Excellence Award, and was named the Surrey Firefighters Tournament MVP 

Coach Avaani Pagely is a third year student athlete playing basketball for the Langara College Falcons and she is studying Kinesiology. She attended North Surrey Secondary School, where she was named the: Spartans Female Athlete of the Year, received Spartans Academic Excellence Award, and was named the Surrey Firefighters Tournament MVP where her Spartans won the gold medal. Coach Avaani has most recently coached with Basketball BC with their 3 on 3 BC Summer Games team and their annual day camps.

Coach Gaurab Acharya brings a strong mix of competitive experience and academic focus to our coaching team. A former captain of the Sir Charles Tupper Secondary School Varsity Basketball team, he is a 4-time Vancouver city champion, Lower Mainland champion and helped secure top 5 finishes at the provincial championship tournament in all f

Coach Gaurab Acharya brings a strong mix of competitive experience and academic focus to our coaching team. A former captain of the Sir Charles Tupper Secondary School Varsity Basketball team, he is a 4-time Vancouver city champion, Lower Mainland champion and helped secure top 5 finishes at the provincial championship tournament in all five years of high school. He also earned Varsity Provincial All-Star honours while maintaining a 90%+ academic average. After high school, he pursued a degree in biomedical engineering and just recently graduated, completing his degree. With over 8 years of coaching experience across the Lower Mainland—including skills training, team development, and camps—Gaurab is committed to sharing his passion for the game, providing mentorship, and developing well-rounded athletes.

Our coaching staff is made up of experienced and dedicated professionals who are passionate about sports and about helping athletes achieve their goals. All our coaches are trained in the latest sports science and coaching techniques, and are committed to ongoing professional development.

Katelyn Lafleur

Coach Tyler Lutton brings 15 years of coaching experience at the elementary, high school, club and collegiate level. He was starting point guard for the 2008 national championship Douglas College Royals before transferring to Acadia university and leading them to the Usports national tournament. Tyler is passionate about teaching the game and is currently the head Trainer at Point Guard Lab.

Katelyn Lafleur

Coach Katelyn Lafleur is currently studying Recreation Leadership while playing post secondary basketball for the Langara College Falcons. Most recently, she was named Captain of the team while leading the PACWEST in steals. Lafleur preaches the importance of balancing academia and athletics, as recognized by her being named a CCAA Nation

Coach Katelyn Lafleur is currently studying Recreation Leadership while playing post secondary basketball for the Langara College Falcons. Most recently, she was named Captain of the team while leading the PACWEST in steals. Lafleur preaches the importance of balancing academia and athletics, as recognized by her being named a CCAA National Scholar, and receiving multiple PACWEST Academic Excellence awards while completing her Diploma in Kinesiology.
